The Club

Who are we?

The Rotaract Club Of Saibaba Colony was chartered in

January 5th 1990 under the Rotary International District-3200.

Our community-based Rotaract club is sponsored by the  Rotary Club of Coimbatore West and we meet twice monthly, on the 1st and

3rd Saturdays of every month. Currently we have about 21 active members

who attend our club meetings and participate in task force projects.

What are the qualities that make our club unique?

  • Our club meetings are lead by rotating moderators, giving our members and guests the opportunity to practice their public speaking skills while providing a little variety to each meeting .
  • Our task forces replace the traditional committee structure for project development .
  • Projects are initiated by our club members. Basically, if a member has an idea for a project, or sees a serious need for a service whether within the club, local or international community, the next step is to simply propose the idea and gather a group of interested members to participate in the planning and execution of the project .
  • Task forces are financially self-sufficient, raising all the funds necessary for the success of the project
  • The Board of Directors provides oversight, administrative support and guidance

  Where can you find us?

  • At our meetings - Our meetings are the first and third Saturdays of each month, from 6:30 to 9:00 PM at Mani School.(confirm us, before you make it to the meeting)
